Successful business woman and actress from the soap opera "One Life To Live" Melissa Bacelar found out about our rescue's plight and decided that she wanted to help us. On her day off, she volunteered to come to the Pasadena Rose Bowl to pitch our cockers Banjo (pictured above on left), Ivy, Scamp and blind Star (pictured above on right).
Although none of the cockers were adopted, we all had a great time showcasing the dogs and speaking with people about our plight.
